Use the same currency unit for cost and return. A positive result does not change the next random outcome; a negative result is not a reason to purchase another feature.

Natural trigger and paid access
A natural trigger occurs through qualifying base-game events. Purchased access pays a separate price to enter a feature or change its trigger chance. Availability and rules vary by title and location.
Compare the exact entry cost, eligible stake, RTP configuration and cap. Do not describe purchased access as buying a win: it buys only the rule-defined feature start.

Retriggers extend the same event
Extra spins or renewed feature time can make a round longer and more complex. Record them as part of the original feature so the final return is compared with the full entry cost.
More feature time creates more random events, not guaranteed recovery. If a round ends below cost, the clean accounting choice is to record it and follow the session limit already set.

Keep the record neutral
Cost, settled return, net result and elapsed time are enough. Avoid prediction labels, hot-streak language and near-miss counts.
If tracking becomes a way to justify continued play, close the tool and take a break. The log serves clarity only while it supports the boundary.
