Visible state changes the feature, not the past
A chained meter may increase after each qualifying win and reset when the sequence ends. While the meter is active, its published state can change the value applied to a later result. That does not make the independent random events that created the chain predictable.
Distinguish a true persistent meter from an animation that merely summarizes values already won. The rules should state when the counter increments, what it applies to and the exact reset condition.

Retriggers alter time and exposure
Extra feature spins can extend a round and give the meter more opportunities to interact with qualifying outcomes. They also lengthen the period before final settlement, which can make it harder to track the original feature cost and net result.
Record the entire round as one event in a session log. Splitting every cascade into a separate perceived win can obscure whether the feature returned more or less than its entry cost.

Compare rules on one sheet
For each title, note the starting meter, increment rule, maximum displayed value, persistence window, retrigger rule, cap and stated RTP. These fields reveal more than a single maximum multiplier number.
